Diamond Standard Community
Not a directory, just a short, honest list of the people, places, and causes I actually trust outside these walls.
Patients ask me for recommendations more than almost anything else: a massage therapist, a trainer, somewhere to put their energy outside the clinic. This page is that list. No one paid to be on it, and I don't get anything back from most of these. The one exception is marked clearly below.
Premier Wellness
Angel Perea is the LMT behind Premier Wellness, and he's who I send patients to when recovery needs real attention, not just a relaxation massage. He's a licensed massage therapist and certified personal trainer with additional certification in corrective exercise and neurotraining, and he's built a client list that includes high-profile clients and sports teams across the Phoenix area. They've also set up a standing VIP deal just for Diamond Standard patients, no strings attached on our end.
Coached by Chris
Chris is who I point patients to when the goal is real training, not just a gym membership, and he brings more than coaching to it. He's a highly decorated bodybuilding competitor here in Phoenix, currently chasing his pro card in some of the most contested divisions in the sport, with a track record of successful clients in both natural and untested NPC events. He's also a skilled posing coach, having worked with names like Kenny Wallach and Terrance Ruffin. His programming is still built the same way I build a protocol: around the person in front of him, not a template, which is why the patients who train with him tend to actually stick with it.
Make Wellness
For patients who want a food-based option alongside what we're doing clinically, Make Wellness is where I point them. This is the one link on this page where we do see something back, flagged plainly, not buried.
American Diabetes Association, Arizona
Diabetes care doesn't stop at the clinic door for me. I've served as Medical Director for AZDA's youth diabetes camp here in Arizona, and every year our team walks in the ADA's Step Out walk. If you want to support that directly, our team page is linked below.
